Mortice Deadlock's Lycra Suit

I bought a full body lycra suit from Bruce & Valerie's SpandexWear.Com. It's a standard full body suit, in metallic purple hologram lycra fabric, with additional zips at the eyes and mouth, and lock loops (a feature I requested that's not on their website) at the groin zip and back/neck zips to allow the zips to be locked.

The pricing was (in US$) $99 for the basic suit, $7 each for the three extra face zips, $25 extra for the metallic fabric, $5 for adding the two lock loops, and $10 for postage to UK - $160 or (UK sterling) £103.53.

It took 3 weeks from e-mail my credit card details (split into 2 mails) to receiving the suit.

I'd heard it had arrived due to receiving a demand for customs payment - I had to pay £11.11 import duty, £18.16 VAT and £1.20 handling charge - an extra £30.47!

The fit is quite good - not very tight, but the only place where it's a bit baggy is at the back of the head. It's a size Medium - it would be interesting to try a size Small to see how more snug the fit would be.

The fabric is incredible! Close up, it's purple fabric with millions of tiny shiny disks, about a millimetre each across. Close up, all the disks look the same. From a few feet away, you can see a checker pattern of about inch squares across the fabric, though the pattern seems to vary according to how you look at it. From further away, as you can see in these pics, they just look bizzare and great :-)

Here are some pics of it. The fabric is all the same colour, although different levels of flash make it look different.
